Express Employment is currently seeking a talented 1st Shift Welder/Fabricator to join a growing team in Toledo, OH. This role involves both welding and fabrication tasks across various projects, requiring a skilled individual who is detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements
- Set up and operate welding machines and fabrication equipment
- Perform welding operations in accordance with specified techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.)
- Fabricate metal components and assemblies as required
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts for accuracy and quality
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with fabrication tools
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality assurance
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
