Schedule: 10 hours per week - flexible - mostly remote
Pay: $25/hour
Location: Must live in UT  or SL Counties

Nova Supports is a fast-growing healthcare company providing in-home and clinic-based ABA therapy services to individuals with autism. In just our first year, we’ve opened two clinics , grown to around 70 employees , and now serve over 100 clients across Utah. We’re building something meaningful, and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

 

About the Role:

This is our first accounting hire . Up to now, all accounting tasks, including payroll, expenses, and reporting, have been managed directly by our CEO. We’re now ready to bring on a dedicated team member to take the reins and help shape our financial systems as we continue to expand.

We’re looking for an Accounting Intern who is sharp, organized, and excited about growing into a long-term role as head of finance. This is an ideal opportunity for someone currently in school or newly graduated, looking to gain hands-on experience with real impact.

This role will manage all things finances, and if it goes well, will be the team leader as we hire additional accounting/payroll team members.

 

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll using Gusto
• Manage garnishments
• Track and manage expenses in QuickBooks and Bill.com
• Create and maintain financial reports in Excel
• Assist with reconciliations and general bookkeeping
• Support monthly and year-end close procedures

Qualifications:

• Must live in Utah County, UT or Salt Lake County, UT
• Able to attend occasional in-person meetings
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting or Finance
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Comfortable working independently and remotely
• Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, Gusto, or Bill.com is a plus
