Senior Accountant/ Accounting Manager
New Gig Solutions is partnering with a leading firm to find a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager with a CPA designation. This role is 100% onsite and offers an exciting opportunity to lead financial operations, optimize closing processes, and mentor a growing accounting team. Must have experience with Individual and Corporate Tax Returns
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Manage and streamline monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support critical business decisions.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
- Assist in developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to the accounting staff.
- Manage and oversee bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely data entry.
- Prepare and file Corporate and Individual tax returns in compliance with tax laws.
- Assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- CPA license is required .
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting or financial management experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
- Detail-oriented with a thorough understanding of GAAP.
- Experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping.
