Key Responsibilities:
-Assemble large and small industrial vibratory screening machines and rotating shaft screen systems in accordance with engineering blueprints.
-Use fixtures and positioning devices to locate and secure components, applying proper torque and Loctite as specified.
-Perform conveyor assembly tasks, including installing guards and affixing conveyor components to fabricated frames.
-Assemble bearing and exciter shafts, press large bearings, and apply grease or oil per assembly requirements.
-Prepare mating surfaces by cleaning and priming as needed prior to assembly.
-Inspect parts visually before assembly to ensure dimensional accuracy and defect-free components.
-Assemble and align drive arrangements including motors, bases, and guards.
-Calibrate and test-run completed vibratory screens, measuring stroke and making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
-Package loose screen components securely for shipment following assembly completion.
-Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints in both standard and metric dimensions.
-Familiarity with various fasteners, fittings, and mechanical hardware.
-Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, including pneumatic impacts, grinders, grease guns, and torque wrenches.
-Capable of measuring accurately with standard and metric tape measures.
-Basic welding and fabrication experience preferred.
-Perform occasional fitting and welding tasks as required.
