Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team and drive data solutions that enhance business insights and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server administration and development , coupled with hands-on expertise in Azure-based data platforms and tools. This role’s primary focus is implementing and maintaining Azure-based data solutions , including Azure VMs , Azure Databases , and Azure Data Warehouse/Lakehouse environments.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL development.

  • Proven ability to design and optimize complex database views, stored procedures, and other database objects.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure VMs, Azure Databases, and Azure Data Warehouse/Lakehouse solutions.

  • Expertise with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Data Flow Gen2 for ETL processes.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of star schema and semantic model design principles.

  • Experience with SSIS for data integration between heterogeneous sources.

  • Extensive knowledge of data lakes for scalable storage and analytics.

  • Familiarity with version control tools for managing database schema and changes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SSRS and Power BI for reporting and visualization.

  • Experience with SQL Server high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

  • Familiarity with SQL Server Query Store for query performance insights.

  • Exposure to D365 environments.
