Cooper’s Landing – Friendswood, TX
Cooper’s Landing is looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to lead our beverage program and deliver top-tier guest experiences in a fast-paced, coastal-inspired atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bar operations, staff scheduling, and inventory control
- Hire, train, and manage bartenders and barbacks
- Ensure consistent, high-quality beverage service
- Monitor and maintain proper liquor cost and waste control
- Create and update cocktail menus, seasonal specials, and bar promotions
- Enforce TABC, health, and safety compliance
- Deliver exceptional hospitality and resolve guest concerns quickly
- Collaborate with FOH/BOH teams to drive sales and efficiency
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of bar management or lead bartender experience
- Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and mixology
- TABC and Food Handler certifications required
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for hospitality and building a strong, service-driven team
