Job Responsibilities:
Instruct and Mentor: Teach students both on the clinic floor and in the classroom using an approved curriculum designed to guide students through their barbering education.
State Board Preparation: Prepare students for the State Board exam and ensure they comply with all relevant State Board rules and regulations.
Administrative Support: Participate in various administrative tasks such as attending faculty meetings, accurately recording grades and attendance, and providing counseling to students to ensure their success.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licensing: A current Barber license in accordance with State requirements.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a practicing barber.
Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required. Passion for mentoring is a must!
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills. Proficiency in basic computer skills is required.
Schedule and Availability:
Day and evening positions available, including a partial work-from-home/remote schedule to offer flexibility.
