Seneca Foods in Janesville, WI is currently seeking a Boiler Room Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to test and control boiler efficiency, water, and chemical levels.
- Measures, mixes and adds chemical to the boiler as necessary.
- Conducts routine checks on Boiler Room safety equipment.
- Operates water supply, water treatment and waste handling equipment.
- Maintains inventories and receives bulk products & records documentation.
- Performs emergency procedures during power outages, during severe weather & fire.
- Performs monthly inspections of fire prevention equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all power plant & waste house equipment.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical skills required.
- Mathmatical skills required.
- Two to five years of related experience.
