About Us:
Only experienced alarm technicians or low voltage technicians apply.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Conduct site surveys to assess the best placement of alarm system components.
- Program and test alarm systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarm systems.
- Provide technical support to customers regarding alarm system operation.
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations and service calls in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for installation and repair work.
- Experience in alarm system sales is a plus.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and system designs.
- Mechanical knowledge for mounting equipment and running wires.
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues with alarm systems.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic blueprint reading skills for understanding building layouts.
- Knowledge of fire sprinkler fitting is a plus.
