Direct Hire:  Remote/Hybrid/On-premises - Downtown Rochester, NY

Salary Range:  $70K - $120K

Rochester Software Associates, Inc. seeks an outstanding C# / .NET Software Engineer to help us grow our Windows based print solution suite.

Work Location:

Work either on-site in Rochester, NY, or Hybrid, or remotely from a supported US state (AL, FL, KS, MA, NC, NY, PA, SC, TN, TX, and WI)

Education

  • A minimum of a BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar is required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement and test Windows software solutions using C#, .NET libraries with Visual Studio 2022.
  • Collaborate with other team members, product managers, documentation specialists to design and develop world-class software solutions to meet the needs of our customers in the Print industry.
  • Perform peer code reviews and accept feedback from team members review of your code.
  • Work with Customer Service to assist and troubleshoot customer issues.
  • Perform troubleshooting of basic network issues using tools like Wireshark.

Skills

REQUIRED:

  • Solid knowledge and application of Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Use and thoroughly understand the git source code management framework.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work with customers to identify and solve their problems.
  • Know how to successfully troubleshoot and debug applications using Visual Studio.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of SNMP
  • Knowledge of digital production printing

Experience

  • A minimum of three years of experience in developing complex applications with C# and .NET
