A leading lumberyard company based in Central Jersey is looking for a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role must have management experience in the lumberyard industry and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including operations, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, and customer relations.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership : Lead the company in setting and achieving long-term goals, with a focus on profitability, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
• Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Team Leadership and Development: Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Customer and Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Innovation and Growth: Lead efforts in sustainability and corporate social responsibility, ensuring the company’s long-term viability and positive community impact.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a management or executive role within the lumberyard or building materials industry.
• Deep understanding of the lumberyard industry, including market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets, financial planning, and reporting.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of building and leading successful teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a focus on results.
