Job Description

CornerStone Staffing is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work as a Claims Investigator to join our client, a leading insurance company in Carmel, IN.

 

CornerStone Staffing is currently recruiting for the following position:

 

Job Title: Claims Investigator

 

Location: Carmel, IN (fully onsite)

 

Pay: $20/hr

 

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am-4:30pm

 

This role is responsible for the initial setup and investigation of claims before they are assigned to a licensed adjuster. The Claims Investigator will handle 20-40 claims per day , reviewing documentation, verifying coverage, and identifying potential recovery opportunities.

This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented position that requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

 

  • This role involves working extensively with emails, claim document reviews, and loan amortization tasks.
  • Ideal candidates should be proactive, adaptable, and thrive in a structured environment.

 

 

Job Description:

  • Review claim documentation to match collateral damage with the appropriate insurance policy.
  • Determine coverage eligibility and assess claims for recovery potential.
  • Utilize auto valuation tools to analyze damages.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in claims processing while meeting service standards.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing clear and professional assistance.
  • Maintain high service levels while handling multiple claims efficiently.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Insurance background is not preferred.
