Role: Cloud/DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with 8+ years' experience to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-based solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cloud infrastructure while ensuring cost efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Automation and DevOps: Automate deployment processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Rancher, Jenkins, Helm.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring tools, analyze performance, and optimize cloud services for efficiency and cost.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure systems meet security and compliance standards, implementing best practices for cloud security.
  • Collaboration: Work with development, operations, and security teams to support cloud-native applications and services.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of architecture, configurations, and processes.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • Proven experience in cloud engineering or architecture roles.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure.

Skills and Tools:

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and storage concepts.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, CloudWatch, Dynatrace).

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications like AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Engineer are a plus.
