What You’ll Do
- Oversee bridge and road construction projects from initial bid through successful completion.
- Develop accurate cost estimates by analyzing project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Prepare take-offs, scopes of work, and bid packages for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to gather quotes.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Manage project documentation involving contracts, order changes, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to align goals.
- Monitor progress, troubleshoot challenges, and maintain compliance with specifications.
What You’ll Bring
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or another relevant field.
- Experience :
- 3–5 years in bridge/road construction estimating and project management.
- Proven experience with concrete projects.
- Familiarity with self-performing or specialty contractors.
- Skills :
- Ability to interpret construction blueprints, specifications, and plans.
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost-control expertise.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities.
- Extras : Sales/marketing experience is a plus.
