Job Description

About the Role:
Join a dedicated team of Contract Specialists, where you will play a key role in providing comprehensive financial management support. You'll work with a talented group to handle a range of financial procedures, including financial analyst support, verification, and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management Support: Provide full-spectrum support for financial management and contract closeout activities. This includes assisting with financial analyst tasks and ensuring accurate verification and validation processes.
Contract Closeout: Manage the closeout of contracts and Interagency Agreements (IAAs), ensuring all packages are completed and submitted correctly.
PR Processing: Collaborate with Financial Analyst Supervisors to process Procurement Requisitions (PRs) and liaise with various offices to gather supporting documentation.
Report Preparation: Create and maintain financial reports, including commitment reports and expiring period of performance reports.
Documentation: Assist in preparing and submitting HSAM, Appendix G, and FITARA documents, and support audit requests by reviewing and collecting necessary documentation.
Tool Maintenance: Help maintain financial tools and resources, including the EPIC tool, PR Tracking spreadsheets, and Shared Drive PR folders.
Team Support: Mentor and coach junior team members and assist with additional financial analyst duties as needed.
Software Proficiency: Utilize software applications such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, PRISM, and FFMS to support your tasks.
Qualifications:

Experience: At least 2 years of experience with contract closeout in a federal setting.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the full lifecycle of government awards, including obligations, modifications, and closeouts.
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Software: Working knowledge of the PRISM database is highly desirable but not required.
Clearance: Must be able to obtain an EOD Public Trust Clearance.
