Controls Engineer
A client of ours is looking to hire a Controls Engineer to design and implement tailored security control systems for clients. You’ll work on programming, testing, and commissioning security electronics at correctional and commercial sites throughout the Midwest. We’re seeking a self-starter with excellent project management skills to lead projects independently, manage budgets effectively, and supervise field technicians and temporary staff.
Design custom security systems based on client needs
Program, test, and launch security electronics equipment
Maintain professional client communication throughout projects
Manage projects with minimal oversight while meeting budget targets
Lead and support on-site technical teams
PLC programming and HMI development experience
Expertise in integrated systems design
High School Diploma required; 4-year Technical Engineering Degree preferred
Knowledge of security hardware (door locks, CCTV, access control, intercoms) is a bonus
