Overview

The Data & Insights team under Global lottery is looking to further enhance our cloud-based data ecosystem. This platform will include all facets of business intelligence including advanced analytics and data science activities.

Responsibilities

The intern will be contributing on various work streams including analysis of targeted use cases where advanced analytics may apply. The intern will be working in a cloud-based data and analytics platform and will exercise advanced data and mathematical methods to evolve analytics. There will also be opportunities in working on DevOps development in Microsoft Azure cloud. 

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited higher education institution; studying Computer Science, Software Engineering or Data Science
• Broad understanding of software principles and advanced mathematical concepts 
• Eagerness to learn and apply data science principles to real-world applications
• Strong math skills, analytics, statistics, and data management principles
• Experience with Python, SQL, Data management systems, IDEs for data science 
• Experience / Exposure with Cloud technologies
• Experience with MS products preferred
