Job Title : Data Conversion Analyst

Location : Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Responsibilities:

Analyze legacy data systems and develop data conversion requirements and specifications.
Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Map data elements from source to target systems while ensuring integrity and consistency.
Identify data quality issues and apply appropriate cleansing techniques.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate conversion logic.
Perform data reconciliation and validation testing post-migration.
Develop and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries and conversion rules.
Participate in cutover planning and provide support during go-live and stabilization periods.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience in data conversion, data migration, or ETL development.
Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
Experience working with data in legacy systems and modern platforms.
Familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Talend, or custom scripting (Python, Shell, etc.).
Understanding of data governance, integrity, and quality assurance best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working on data conversions in healthcare, government, or financial sectors.
Familiarity with reporting tools like Cognos, OBIEE, or Power BI.
Prior experience with large-scale enterprise or government data migration initiatives.
Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, or state-level data compliance standards (for healthcare roles).
Federal Experience is a plus.
Required Security clearance.
