Job Description

Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Data Manager position in the Adult Education department of the Academic and Student Affairs division. This position is located on Atlanta Technical College's main campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta, and at ATC's South campus located in Forest Park, Georgia.

Under general supervision of the Dean of Adult Education, the Data Manager will be responsible for job duties to include, but not limited to the following:

- Manage and monitor daily functions of data collection and reporting.

- Manage intake, pre-assessment and data reporting functions.

- Conduct and manage all aspects of program orientation.

- Provide counseling and required information about test results.

- Manage post-testing and returning student processes; manage year-end and data rollover processes.

- Prepare weekly, quarterly and yearly data reports as required by TCSG, OAE and local leadership.

- Conduct new hire training.

- Conduct annual data collection and reporting training.

- Conduct periodic review of local data collection and reporting, processes, revise accordingly and develop new processes based on data analysis.

- Create and analyze on-demand and routine data reports, providing suggestions for program improvement.

- Perform data monitoring in collaboration with Curriculum / Instruction and Transition Units.

- Participate in strategic planning to implement strategies for data-driven program improvement.

- Enter Intake Assessment Form data, TABE test scores, class schedules, orientation attendance, daily attendance (Classroom and Proxy) into the Georgia Adult Literacy Information System (GAUS).

- Maintain permanent files.

- Support the mission and vision of the college, program and TCSG.

- Follows rules and regulations as described by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and other policies and procedures established by the institution; and

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

- Proficient in data analysis and reporting.

- Understanding of virtual meeting platforms (Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom).

- Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum Qualifications :

Must possess and demonstrate a Bachelor's degree in Education, Adult Education or a related field; OR Five (5) or more years of directly related work experience. Must also possess and demonstrate experience working in a post-secondary setting with adult learning principles,

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference may be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess and demonstrate the following:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Adult Education or a related field.

- Six (6) or more years of professional experience in adult education, career and technical education, student support services or a related field.

- Experience working with adult learning principles, academic advising, and student support strategies.

*** May be required to teach at other locations and other locations within the community. Must be willing to work a Flexible schedule (i.e., Saturdays or evening events) ***
