Overview
Are you passionate about AI, mobile apps, and gaming? Join our innovative indie startup as an AI App Developer Intern and help us integrate cutting-edge AI features into our products! This is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience, work on AI-driven applications, and contribute to a creative, fast-paced environment. As an intern, you'll collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and game developers to integrate large language models (LLMs) and other AI technologies into our app or game.
While this is an unpaid internship, we offer flexible hours, the chance to work remotely, and valuable exposure to industry-leading AI technologies. If you're on an OPT visa, we also offer first-year OPT support.
What You’ll Do
- AI Integration : Assist in integrating LLMs (e.g., GPT-3/4, Claude) into our mobile or Unity-based apps.
- App Development : Help build features that utilize AI, such as chatbots, virtual characters, or context-aware systems.
- Backend & API Integration : Work on sending and receiving API requests from platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, and others.
- UI/UX Collaboration : Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure smooth interaction between the AI features and user interface.
- Testing and Debugging : Test AI interactions, troubleshoot issues, and refine user-facing AI experiences.
- Prototyping : Build prototypes for new AI-based features or tools, ensuring they align with product goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Skills :
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or C# (Unity experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with AI technologies like OpenAI API, natural language processing (NLP), or reinforcement learning.
- Knowledge of mobile app development (Android or iOS) or Unity is a plus.
- Comfortable with API requests, JSON data, and RESTful services.
- Basic understanding of frontend and backend integration.
- Ability to work with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience :
- Previous experience (even personal projects or university projects) with AI or app development.
- Coursework or projects in machine learning, AI, or game development is a plus.
- Attributes :
- Self-starter with a strong willingness to learn and problem-solve.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely.
- Enthusiastic about AI technologies, apps, and interactive experiences.
