Job Description
We are seeking a professional Temporary E-Billing Specialistto join a nation wide law firm. This position is fully remote (work from home). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of E-Billing experience working for a law firm and will be proficient in Aderant software. Any additional expereince with BillBlast or eHub will also be beneficial.
Job Description:
- Ability to work with BillBlast platform to generate LEDES files and manipulate invoices for transmission of appeals
- Generate recap reports for attorney review by entering reduction information into Aderant workflow
- Update the status and notes for invoices in BillBlast
- Follow up on outstanding appeal language
- Works closely with ebillers regarding timekeeper reductions
- Submit appeals to vendor sites by creating LEDES file in BillBlast
- Ensure quick resolution for reduced balances.
- Clear knowledge of the eBilling/billing process for insurance clients to ensure compliance with billing requirements
- Understanding of timekeeper rates
- Submission of timekeeper rate appeals
- Working with matter information and billing to ensure rates are updated in Aderant billing system to match client approval rates on eBilling vendor site
- Understanding of eBilling vendor sites
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of expereince in E-Billing for a law firm
- Strong working knowledge and proficiency in Aderant software (REQUIRED)
- Additional experience using Bill Blast or eHub (Strongly Considered)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office suites
Hours:
- Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
- Fully Remote (Work From Home)
- 10 Month Temporary Assignment
Pay:
- $30 – $31 hourly (Depending on Experience)
