Job Title: Echo Technologist
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Job Type: Full-Time | Entry Level
Salary: $29.56 – $44.34 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (5x8-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM), with rotating weekends and on-call duties
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Echo Technologist to join our healthcare team in Tallahassee, FL. In this role, you will perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound imaging and assist with Transesophageal Echo procedures. You’ll work alongside a collaborative clinical team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images using M-mode, color flow Doppler, and 2D imaging

• Follow imaging protocols as recommended by IACEL

• Assist physicians during Transesophageal Echo procedures

• Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure timely and efficient patient care

• Ensure accurate documentation and communication of imaging results

• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, professional environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

Education:

• Associate Degree or Certificate in Echocardiography

Certifications:

• RCS (CCI) or RDCS (ARDMS) required

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire

Experience:

• Experience preferred, but new graduates with proper certifications are welcome to apply
