Environmental Health and Safety Technician
Veterans Employment is seeking motivated veterans with experience in Environmental Health & Safety, or Industrial Hygiene related fields. These positions involve working with several top companies to ensure their Environmental Health and Safety guidelines are top-notch. We are seeking someone with an eagerness to grow and become a professional in this industry.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following abilities and experience:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Development and implementation of EHS programs
Preparation of technical reports and safety manuals
Delivery of EHS training courses
Ability to act as a liaison in regulatory inspections
Site auditing for federal, state, and local EHS compliance
EHS permitting
Chemical, biological, and radiation safety
Industrial hygiene surveying and sampling
Ergonomic and job safety assessments
Accident/incident investigations
EHS experience in a laboratory environment
The ability to perform independently and interact well with all levels of personnel.
EHS Technician - $25+/hr depending on experience and qualifications
Military training and experience in Environmental Health & Safety, Hazardous Materials, Materials Safety Data Programs, Nuclear Biological Chemical, or any related military occupational specialties preferred.
