We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is perfect for a dedicated nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing high-quality care to patients of all ages.
The ER RN will deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care, addressing non-urgent, urgent, and emergent cases. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing standards and the New York State Nursing Practice Act.
Compensation: $59.11-$76.58 Per Hour
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, social, and psychological factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on diagnoses and patient needs.
Administer medications, manage treatment modalities, and respond to medical and surgical emergencies.
Utilize advanced critical care skills for urgent and emergent situations.
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and medications.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care and interventions.
Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with EMS, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of medical/surgical nursing experience required.
Prior experience in an Emergency Department or critical care setting preferred.
Current New York State RN license required.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
