Job Title: Event Assistant

Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of various events. The Event Assistant will collaborate with event coordinators, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless event operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to confirm details and resolve issues as needed.
• Help prepare event materials and assist with event set-up and breakdown.
• Provide on-site support during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Track event timelines and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
• Handle registration and guest check-ins, ensuring accurate guest lists and seating arrangements.
• Manage event supplies, including ordering and tracking inventory.
• Handle administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and preparing documents.
• Assist in managing event budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Respond to inquiries from attendees and clients before, during, and after events.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by event schedules.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
