We are looking for a couple friendly and energetic people to join our Front of House team in a support capacity. We are a local chef owned and operated upscale casual restaurant that stresses the use of local ingredients, seafood and grits in a multitude of flavors and ways.
The position we are looking to fill is for a food runner/host(ess). The ideal candidate has some experience working food and beverage. We are open Wednesday through Saturday for dinner from 5pm to 9:30pm, as well as Sunday brunch from 9:30am - 2:30pm. This is an ideal position for a student, either college or high school, that has had previous restaurant experience.
Compensation is $6 per hour plus tip out from the FOH team. Food runners receive a 1.5% share of the total food sales for the shift. Hosts receive a 1% share of the total sales during the shift split among any people working the same job that evening based on the time worked during the shift. This typically puts the support staff up in the range of $18-30+/hour.
