Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled F5 Admin with expertise in Unix/Windows systems to design, implement, configure, and maintain robust network infrastructures. The role requires hands-on experience with F5 load balancing technologies and strong proficiency in network protocols and scripting. You will be responsible for optimizing application performance by distributing traffic across multiple servers, troubleshooting complex issues, and providing support in a hybrid IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure using F5 load balancing technology to ensure high availability and optimal application performance.
- Configure and manage F5 features, including iRules scripting , LTM , GTM , and advanced load-balancing techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring system stability and security.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance across the IT ecosystem.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks.
- Document network configurations, changes, and processes to ensure compliance and support scalability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with F5 load balancing technologies (including iRules scripting and network protocols such as TCP/IP).
- Expertise in managing Unix and Windows operating systems in complex environments.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure , particularly Azure .
- Proficiency in network infrastructure management, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other related hardware/software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve network performance issues.
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in network management.
- Effective communication and documentation skills for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator or equivalent.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Prior experience in hybrid IT environments.
