Our Field Service Technicians (FSTs) are the frontline experts who make sure our security screening and x-ray detection equipment is always up and running.

What You’ll Be Doing
Think Fast. Fix Faster.
- Install, maintain, and repair x-ray detection and security screening systems at TSA checkpoints, federal facilities, and private-sector locations.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues —no soldering required, just smart troubleshooting and part replacements.
- Handle emergency service calls and be ready to respond within three hours when needed.
Own Your Territory. Own the Work.
- You’re the go-to person for TSA agents, security teams, and facility managers who rely on these machines daily.
- Manage your own service calls, repairs, and maintenance schedules like a pro.
- Train operators on how to use and maintain the equipment, so everything runs smoothly.
Stay Sharp. Stay Ready.
- Keep detailed service records, reports, and documentation—you know, the stuff that keeps everything running like a well-oiled machine.
- Work independently but stay connected with your team, dispatch, and managers for the big-picture mission.
- Maintain your company-issued Pelican kit with the right tools to get the job done.

- You know your way around electronics, mechanics, or field service work —whether from the military, a past job, or hands-on experience.
- Troubleshooting is second nature —you don’t just swap parts, you figure out the problem.
- You’re comfortable in high-security environments —you get why details matter, and you follow protocol.
- You like working independently —but also know when to call in backup.
- You’re good with people —because, this job is about keeping people and systems running smoothly .
- Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass an in-depth SSI security clearance .
- No DUIs, bankruptcies, or unmanageable debts in the past three years .
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation —you’ll be covering St. Louis and surrounding areas.
- Must live within 30 minutes of St. Louis, MO (we’ll stretch it to an hour with traffic).
- Travel up to 75% (sometimes overnight) is part of the deal.

This role does come with a company cellphone, laptop, and tool kit. You are also reimbursed $.68.5 on the mile for using your POV. Any trips over 100 miles, you can rent a car or use your POV.
