Great customer service and retail experience needed. In shop work includes customer service, answering phones, taking floral orders, flower cleaning and processing, custom floral design (for Designers), stocking, general cleaning and other projects. Out of shop work includes floral deliveries and set up. Must be able to lift minimum 15 up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Provide our customers with exceptional customer service
Give the customer your full attention, greeting all customers in department
Process/clean flowers for sale
Keep department supplies filled and maintained
Maintain accurate retail pricing and signage
Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated.
Document product transfers, waste and spoilage using appropriate forms
Practice safe use and maintenance of all tools and equipment. Maintain a safe and clean department.
Wash containers and tools when necessary
Answer telephones with proper etiquette
Timely delivery of floral orders and set up of arrangements when needed.
Position requires regular and reliable attendance.

Floral delivery drivers must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
Floral designers must have 5+ years floral design background
Education and Experience:
High school graduate or GED. Excellent customer service skills. Prior floral shop experience a plus. Floral designers must have 5+ years design experience in a retail floral setting.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations. Ability to effectively present information to and respond to questions from other managers, store managers, vendors & customers.
Mathematical Skills:
Strong basic math skills including the ability to add, multiply, divide, subtract and calculate percentages
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems.
