What You'll Do

  • Conduct detailed investigations of structural failures and damages in commercial and residential buildings.
  • Analyze data and create reports to determine causes of structural issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to provide expert advice on structural integrity and safety.
  • Prepare and present expert testimony in legal and insurance proceedings as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, building codes, and emerging technologies related to structural engineering.

Must Have's

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on forensic investigations.

Nice To Have's

  • Strong knowledge of building codes and standards for commercial and residential structures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
