Shift: 2nd Shift start time 5:30pm/ training mornings
Payrate: $21.27
Forklift Driver Job Duties:
Pre-Stage:
• Operate scanner gun to pick and rotate finished goods.
• Obtain Pick Tickets from the Shipping office with customer order details.
• Pick, scan, and build pallets for customer orders, ensuring accurate quantities.
• Label pallets with order information and place them in the staging rack.
• Complete and submit Load Chart and Pick Ticket, ensuring legible and accurate counts.
• Follow any special instructions, such as using corner boards or shrink wrapping.
Load Trucks:
• Perform pre-inspection of trailers for cleanliness, damage, and temperature.
• Load pallets onto trucks using a forklift, verifying quantities from the Pick Ticket.
• If items are missing, retrieve from the warehouse and scan using the scanner gun.
Rotation:
• Use scanner gun to place and rotate finished goods in the warehouse.
• Review the Production Schedule to manage warehouse space and rotate inventory based on FIFO.
• Perform cycle counts, confirming quantities on the Inventory Sheet.
Forklift Driver Experience:
• High School graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution preferred.
• 1-year of Shipping Forklift experience in a similar environment required.
• Some experience using a handheld scanner is preferred.
• Forklift experience in both Shipping and Receiving is preferred.
