Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our team and make a meaningful impact on students' lives in a school district in Illinois.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
Valid Illinois teaching license with endorsement in Teaching the Visually Impaired.
Experience working with visually impaired students is preferred, but not required.
What You'll Do:
Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique needs.
Deliver virtual instruction in core subjects, making sure materials are adapted for accessibility.
Collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to ensure each student's success.
Use assistive technology and specialized resources to enhance the learning experience.
