Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Review of German language instruction/user manuals and reports related to general language, grammatical and technical/ useability issues based on the applied safety standards.
• Approve instruction manuals for SGS GS mark certification projects on behalf of the certification body. according to the relevant procedures and work instructions of the certification body.
• Support our test laboratory or clients with brief proposals of translations for safety warning sentences, markings or specific terms in order to compile a complete user and instruction manuals according to safety standards with main focus on domestic household products for the German market.
• Support the certification body or testing lab to prepare translations of technical documents which are not otherwise available in English language (like discussion papers of the EKs, documents by authorities etc. in German language) or to review and improve existing translations.
• Other similar tasks as required.
