Signs Plus in Central Oklahoma C, OK is looking for one graphic designer for sign company to join our 7 person strong team. We are located on 5314 S Shields Blvd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Design signs : Create original signs for businesses, communities, and other clients
- Research : Understand local zoning laws and ADA compliance
- Select materials : Choose from a variety of signage materials and fabrication methods
- Sketch prototypes : Use software and a notebook to create prototypes for client approval
- Set up files : Prepare files for printing and routing, including bleeds, drill holes, and scaling
- A Sign Designer is not merely a graphic artisan; they are strategic visual communicators who transform ideas and concepts into compelling visual statements. This position requires a unique blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and an acute understanding of spatial dynamics.
- As a sign Designer, you could: create designs, lettering and graphics using computer software. Program machines to cut, shape and mold materials for signs. Print and finish artwork and lettering on digital printers and laminators.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of sign construction and fabrication processes
- Understanding of colors, type, size, and location
- Experience with graphic design and sign making
- Proficiency with design, marketing, and artistic software
