Off Madison Ave is a lot of fun to work with. We do amazing work together. And we do it for amazing clients. We have an immediate opening for a Media Services intern to who is eager to learn the ropes of marketing and advertising.
The role of the Media team is to think strategically about a client’s business and plan paid media within the context of a client’s overall marketing strategy. The Media Services intern will be responsible for assisting the Media Planners/Buyers with media research, reports and record keeping. They will also take part in the evaluation of new media opportunities and assist with buying and placement.
This position is hourly, part-time (est. 15hr to 25 hrs per week at $18/hr)
Start date is immediate; end date is flexible, though looking for a three-month minimum commitment
Schedule/location: Hybrid / remote-flexible (OMA’s office is located at Hayden Ferry down the street from ASU)
Provides support to Media Planners/Buyers and the accounting department
Assists with media research, reports, and record keeping
Assists with team organization and maintenance, including invoice collection/reconciliation, POP collection, rate card/media kit collection and filing
Assists with media planning, RFP process and proposal evaluation
Assists with media research utilizing tools and resources to select the most effective media channels to reach target audiences
Assists with Media plan implementation, including insertion order generation, flowchart creation and management, publisher outreach and trafficking
In progress or completed bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) from a four-year college or university; degree in marketing, communications or related field is preferred
Interest in understanding the principles and best practices in both traditional and digital marketing
Strong oral and written communication skills
Professional, confident demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
Highly proficient in the use of a PC or Mac and in the use of MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
