Location: Anchorage Alaska
Wage: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday (with overtime when needed) times and days can vary based on seasonality expectations of our clients
Are you an experience heavy duty mechanic looking to join a reliable team that values safety, quality, and work-life balance? We are hiring a full time Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, service and repair a variety of heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, skid steers, and dump trucks, fleet trucks, small equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
Maintain accurate service records and work logs in software
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Collaboration with operators and supervisors to keep equipment in peak condition
Qualifications:
Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification (or Red Seal preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience working on diesel engines and hydraulic systems
Valid driver's license (Class A/B CDL preferred but not mandatory)
Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
