As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students as they navigate their learning journeys, whether they are working from home or utilizing school computer labs.
In this role, you will oversee assigned e-learning classes, ensuring compliance with student special needs records, including Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs). You will monitor and report on student progress, provide tailored instructional resources, and assist administration in delivering effective educational services to partner school affiliates. Your ability to leverage technology to foster relationships and enhance student learning will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, select, and adapt instructional resources to cater to the diverse needs of students with varying backgrounds and learning styles.
Develop engaging systems and methods to boost student motivation and productivity.
Maintain regular, professional communication with stakeholders to keep them informed and involved.
Monitor student progress, evaluate assessment data, and provide individualized feedback to create meaningful learning experiences.
Keep accurate and up-to-date student records using the school's systems.
Collaborate with colleagues to cultivate positive relationships and a supportive team environment.
Ensure program goals and objectives are met by implementing best practices across teams.
Serve as the general education representative on all Special Education teams, contributing to progress reports for all special education students.
Participate in state testing preparation and on-site administration.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from universal screenings and state-mandated tests to identify intervention needs.
Provide Response to Intervention (RTI) programming and instruction.
Report to the main office or designated locations as assigned.
Interface daily with required organizational communication systems.
Assist with state testing as needed.
Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
Current 7-12 Integrated ELA Ohio Teaching License.
Must reside in Ohio.
Experience in an educational setting.
Proficiency with technology and access to high-speed internet at home.
Understanding of the educational environment and personalized learning approaches.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.
Strong collaboration skills and flexibility in working with others.
High level of organization and self-motivation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with administration, staff, parents, and students.
Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
Ability to work successfully from a home or regional office environment.
Discretion in maintaining confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
