Dish Food & Events – New York, NY

Dish Food & Events in New York City is seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to lead our off-premise event team. The Hospitality Manager must possess strong leadership skills, a warm friendly spirit, and a passion for hospitality. Based in Long Island City, Dish is an award-winning, full-service catering and events company serving all of New York City and The Hamptons for over 15 years. From weddings to social gatherings and corporate events, Dish brings warm hospitality and exceptional cuisine to every event.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll hire, train and mentor our diverse front-of-house event team while developing service standards rooted in our philosophy of Heart Hospitality—the emotional impact we leave on guests and one another. You’ll manage event staffing logistics, collaborate cross-functionally with sales and culinary teams, and lead onsite service for some of NYC’s most exciting weddings, galas, and corporate events.

We’re looking for a team-focused, detail-oriented hospitality leader with a passion for people, training, and operational excellence. If you're excited about creating a workplace where hospitality professionals can grow and thrive—and where guests feel genuinely cared for—we want to meet you.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive, inclusive, and creative workplace culture
  • Opportunity to work on high-profile events
  • Health benefits + employee perks

  • Deep understanding of what exceptional hospitality looks and feels like—especially in off-premise or special event settings
  • Passion for training, mentoring, and developing others
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and problem-solve in real time
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with staffing software (such as Nowsta) and scheduling best practices preferred.
  • Working knowledge of labor laws, onboarding compliance, and payroll processes

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
