Job Description
Opening for a part- or full-time, skilled, detail-oriented, well-organized Hydrogeologist with more than four (4) years' experience in environmental consulting. We are looking for a mid- or senior-level scientist with experience designing aquifer slug and pumping tests to obtain and evaluate hydrogeological data. Recent experience with groundwater modeling is preferred.
This is a hybrid role
Responsibilities
- Project or task management for our Property Services Group
- Supervising typical projects, including Phase II Environmental Site Assesments (ESAs) and groundwater investigations
- Data design, validation, evaluation, and reporting
- Preparing and reviewing proposals
- Providing technical review on groundwater investigations
- Problem solving and solution recommendations
Qualifications
- At least four (4) years' experience in designing, reviewing, and reporting hydrogeological investigations using latest software and best practices, required
- Groundwater modeling proficiency, preferred
- Experience with the environmental due diligence process, preferred
- Working knowledge of Michigan's Part 201 rules and regulations, preferred
- Involvement working closely with Michigan EGLE, preferred
- Strong written and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent, required
