Role Name: IBM ODM Technical Lead
Location: Dublin, OH Onsite
Role Description:
The IBM ODM Technical Lead will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of rules-based solutions using IBM ODM 8.9.x or higher. The role involves leading rule development projects, setting up decision centers, and ensuring high-quality rule implementations that meet business requirements. Strong expertise in Core Java, web services, and JSON is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and testing of IBM ODM rule projects.
- Set up and configure Decision Center for business use.
- Develop and manage Decision Tables, Decision Trees, Action Rules (BRL), Rule Flows, and XOM/BOM in JRules/WODM/ODM.
- Deploy Rule Applications and Rule Sets to the Rule Execution Server.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at different management levels to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for coding, debugging, and testing rule projects.
- Leverage expertise in SOA architecture and Java web services for system integration.
- Apply test-driven development principles using JUnit.
Essential Skills:
- Strong expertise in IBM ODM 8.9.x or higher.
- 5+ years of experience in rules project development and debugging.
- Proficiency in Core Java, JSON, and web services.
- Experience with Decision Center setup and rule deployment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of SAP BRFPlus.
- Exposure to SOA-based architecture.
- Experience in synthetic class creation and rule task design.
