Assists the Senior Vice President & General Counsel, other more senior attorneys, and members of company Management Team by providing legal advice and counsel on a range of topics within the general practice areas, including drafting and negotiating contracts, supporting transactions of various natures, assisting in analysis and mitigation of compliance issues and identifying new or emerging areas of risk, and conducting or overseeing legal research. Provides legal advice and services to System Management Team and affiliated corporate entities for a wide range of operational initiatives and health care legal and regulatory compliance issues that have a significant impact on patient care and business operations for a dynamic and growing non-profit health-care system. Protects company"s rights in contract negotiations, settlements and litigation.
