Summary We?re looking for a
loving, patient, and nurturing caregiver to join our infant classroom in the afternoons! If you have a heart for babies and believe in supporting their earliest developmental milestones through warm, responsive care?this role is for you. You?ll work alongside a dedicated teaching team to ensure our infants feel safe, seen, and soothed in a consistent and engaging environment.
Duties - Provide attentive, gentle, and responsive care to infants ages 6 weeks to 18 months
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and nap routines in accordance with state guidelines and center policies
- Build secure attachments through cuddles, songs, eye contact, and meaningful interactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Communicate daily with lead teachers and families about each child?s day
- Support developmental goals through age-appropriate activities and sensory exploration
- Ensure a calm, peaceful atmosphere during transitions and caregiving routines
Requirements - Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
- Warm, nurturing, and dependable personality
- Commitment to being present, responsive, and emotionally available for young children
Nice To Haves - Previous experience in an infant or toddler classroom
- Familiarity with infant development and respectful caregiving approaches (example: Conscious Discipline)
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A sense of humor and a calm, grounded demeanor
