February 2025 Description: Lecturer in Inorganic Chemistry Responsibilities: Teach a 3-credit 200-level descriptive Inorganic Lecture and a 4-hour (2 credit) Laboratory course Qualifications: Ph.D. Chemistry or closely related discipline Hartwick College, a nationally ranked, selective liberal arts and sciences institution, invites applications for a position as an Adjunct Lecturer of Chemistry for the Spring 2025 Semester. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach CHEM 210 Inorganic Chemistry and CHEM 210L Inorganic Chemistry laboratory. The opportunity to teach in future semesters may be available.
Qualifications include ABD or Ph.D. in Chemistry. A.B.D. candidates are encouraged to apply, as this is an opportunity to gain teaching experience with coaching and mentoring by departmental faculty. Applicants should be committed to teaching excellence.
