Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices in logistics and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Oversee heavy lifting operations and ensure proper techniques are utilized by team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and facilities to maintain operational standards.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures to enhance productivity within the warehouse.
- Operate order/cherry picker and reach truck
- RF Scanner experience
Experience
- Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role, preferably within a 3PL environment.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations and e-commerce fulfillment processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a positive work culture.
- Experience with inventory control systems and practices.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
