Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to support M&A transactions, financial modeling, and client advisory within our Industrials & Distribution team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a focus on transaction execution and sector expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing M&A, capital raising, and restructuring transactions.
- Build and maintain financial models (DCF, comps, precedent transactions).
- Conduct industry research and market analysis.
- Prepare pitch materials, manage due diligence, and assist in documentation.
- Collaborate with senior bankers and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking with a focus on industrials/distribution or related sectors.
- Open to candidates from other coverage groups.
- Advanced financial modeling skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred).
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
