Job Description
Position: Irrigation Production Manager
Objective: The Irrigation Production Manager role is responsible for managing employees, equipment, and materials to ensure the successful completion of commercial irrigation installation projects per project plans and specifications. The Irrigation Production Manager participates in overseeing successful project completion, job site safety, team schedules, and communication with field staff.

Responsibilities:
- Understanding and overseeing the proper installation of multiple irrigation construction projects simultaneously.
- Coordinating with Irrigation Department Manager for procurement and delivery timing of irrigation materials.
- Identifying job site challenges, proactively making recommendations, and tracking project changes for change order requests with the Irrigation Department Manager.
- Tracking material usage and ensuring materials are costed to appropriate job.
- Assisting with setting up job site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.
- Managing crew schedules and timecards to optimize and track labor costs.
- Ensuring that construction equipment, tools, and material are properly maintained to minimize damage or losses.
- Recruiting, hiring, and training laborers and crew leaders.
- Documenting and communicating GC/client feedback to Irrigation Department Manager.
- Reinforcing Big Tree’s safety policies and procedures, including compliance with DOT and OSHA.
Qualifications & Specific Skills:
- Commercial irrigation installation experience preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and read and understand blueprints and specifications.
- General knowledge of plant water requirements and irrigation system design.
- Competent verbal and written communication skills in English - Bilingual Spanish.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Very strong organizational and planning skills; ability to manage changing priorities and workflow.
- A dedication to learning and improving company standards, procedures, and goals.
- Willingness to work long hours, including overtime and weekends, and assist with other projects.
- Committed to continual skill enhancement for top-level industry performance.

- Possess pertinent physical requirements commensurate with the job.
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
