Martek Global Services, Inc. (“Martek”) has been awarded several long-term Federal contracts to provide a wide range of Procurement and Acquisition talent.  We are currently seeking a Funds Financial Analyst II to have an integral role in the planning and executing of administrative, financial or business program functions that are essential to the accomplishment or support of funds management. 

Job Location:  Remote; this position will be a telework/work from home regardless of federal COVID precautions. 
Salary Range: 50K-60K

Job Description:

The Funds Financial Analyst II shall support the Funds Management Branch of Martek's customer.  They shall also provide efficient and cost-effective support services for the requirements identified below.

• Provide assistance with the receipt and acceptance of Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPR), interagency agreements, and funding documents while adhering to the appropriate Fiscal Policies and/or Appropriations Law.
• Analyze all funding documents for accuracy.
• Review documents to ensure all required information is provided by the client and is clearly identified on the documents.
• Gain approval of acceptances of funding documents by a certifying official. Upon acceptance, the contractor is responsible for entering the funding data into the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS).
• Create WBSs, Sales Orders and Purchase Requests in FBMS and complete monthly Service Unit Reports for the cost accounting team. 
• Notify the COR of any issues that impact their ability to perform this task. 
• Provide close out support for funds management and assist in clearing any un-liquidated obligations balances. 

Educational Requirements

At a minimum, a High School Diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of specific governmental accounting, business management or budget experience is required.
