AdeptHR is Hiring for Lab Assistants!
Starting pay is $19.50 to 21 per hour + overtime opportunities.
Here is what your day to day will entail:
Final surface finishing steps on composite parts, including sanding, polishing, trimming, and inspecting to ensure a high-quality, aesthetically pleasing, and structurally sound product, adhering to detailed specifications and quality standards, often utilizing hand tools and specialized equipment within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive samples
- Log samples
- Prep samples for analysis
- Assist preparation of daily field sample analysis report
- Assist on day-to-day laboratory tasks such as cleaning etc.
- Assist in documenting laboratory processes and creating and updating SOPs.
- Assist in discarding lab waste.
- Perform tasks assigned by R&D Manager and Senior Chemist
- Record information accurately
- Weigh samples accurately
- Perform calculations accurately
- Work in lab environment
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Engaged in associate or bachelor’s degree program (preferred)
- Good math skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic MS Office knowledge
