Accepting applications for a full-time (12-month) Lead Custodian. Responsible for overseeing the general cleaning and upkeep of the building and grounds in order to provide a safe, comfortable and clean environment for students, staff and visitors. Duties include supervising custodial staff, maintaining supply inventories, providing primary contact with the building administrator to determine needs within the building as it relates to school events and activities, and monitoring building systems. Also assists custodial staff with minor building repairs, routine vacuuming, cleaning and stocking restrooms, building sanitation, lawn and grounds maintenance and snow removal. This position requires employee to be on his/her feet much of the shift and regularly requires bending, stooping, twisting and occasional significant lifting. Hours will generally be from early morning to midafternoon. May include occasional weekend events (sporting games, concerts, etc.).
