Salary: $89,900 - 89,900 per year Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with Databricks, Spark, Scala, Cloud databases/data warehouses, Azure DeltaLake, and Azure DataFactory.
- Experience in implementing end-to-end features and user stories, from analysis/design to building features, validation, deployment, and post-deployment support.
- Solid grasp of Data modeling, Databases, and Data Warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of agile methodology.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Dot NET/C#.
- Knowledge of query optimization techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills when dealing with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities: - As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data/code pipelines utilizing Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Scala.
- Collaborating with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to grasp data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Optimizing and tuning Spark applications for better performance and scalability.
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
- Implementing data processing workflows, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
- Understanding product architecture, features being developed, and generating ideas for product improvements and proofs of concept.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data processing and pipeline failures.
- Engaging in product support activities as required by the team.
- Staying informed about the latest industry trends and best practices in big data technologies.
- Serving as a resource to others within the team.
